Objectives of the Programme
- Upon successful completion of the Integrated Teacher Education Programme, student-teachers will be able to:
- Develop comprehensive knowledge and pedagogical skills required for effective teaching in their chosen discipline.
- Understand the philosophical, psychological and sociological foundations of education.
- Demonstrate professional ethics, commitment and sensitivity toward learners’ diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Promote constitutional values, environmental awareness, gender equity and social harmony in educational settings.
- Strengthen critical thinking, analytical reasoning and a scientific temper among students.
- Integrate digital tools and innovative teaching-learning strategies into classroom practices.
- Design learner-centered lesson plans and apply effective classroom management techniques.
- Engage in reflective practice, action research and continuous professional development.
