Programme and Intake

In accordance with the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) framework prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and aligned with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CMP Degree College offers the Four-Year Integrated B.A. B.Ed. (Secondary) Programme from the academic session 2026–2027.

The programme is designed to prepare professionally competent secondary school teachers by integrating disciplinary knowledge in Arts with systematic teacher education. It aims to develop subject expertise, pedagogical skills, ethical values and professional competencies required for effective teaching at the secondary level. The curriculum follows a multidisciplinary approach, combining foundational courses, subject-specific studies, pedagogical training, internships and community engagement to ensure holistic teacher preparation. Currently, CMP Degree College has been granted Two Units for the B.A. B.Ed. (Secondary) Programme, with an approved intake as per regulatory norms.
